In einer Welt des ständigen Wandels wächst die Notwendigkeit, mögliche Herausforderungen und Szenarien für die Zukunft neu zu imaginieren.

Bei diesem Symposium kommen Denker*innen aus Berlin, Oxford und darüber hinaus zusammen, um einen Blick auf die wahrscheinliche Zukunft einer komplexen Welt zu werfen, in der das „Alte“ und das „Neue“ aufeinandertreffen. Sie befassen sich mit dem Übergang von globalen Herausforderungen zu planetarischen Erfordernissen und den Auswirkungen neuer Technologien und neuer Formen wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse (Entwicklungen der Demokratie, Gesundheit, neue Formen der Energie und Entwürfe der sozialen Organisation und Vernetzung).

Die Veranstaltung findet in englischer Sprache statt.
