The forest is in danger! All around the world forest industry and climate change are threatening this important ecosystem. The workshop explains this regarding the Canadian rainforest and makes comparisons to flora and fauna in Germany. Why do humans need the forest? How can it be managed sustainably? And who benefits from whom? The children give a shape and a voice to the inhabitants of the wood, who are not (always) visible. “Leave me be!”, cries the thousand-year-old cedar. “Go away with your fishnets”, hisses the wave in the creek.
Suitable packaging materials should be brought to the workshop for transporting the creative results.
