During the day the Baret Café with small lunch, coffee and original cakes and in the evening modern, unpretentious, fine dining with an expanded menu. An honest, imaginative and undogmatic cuisine. A variety of carefully selected regional ingredients are combined with fish, meat or vegetarian/vegan to create ever-changing interpretations. Chef Danny Benedettini presents combinations that you might not expect, but that make all dishes taste new. Culinary surprises, without extravagance, which also sometimes reinterpret down-to-earth classics in a contemporary and creative way.
Behind the concept are Arthur Schuller, young entrepreneur with many years of experience in cultural gastronomy, and the team he has assembled: Katharina Herborn (General Manager), Danny Benedettini (Chef), Pavlov Georgiev (Bar Manager), Kiersten Feldmann (Social Media & Assistant General Manager), Thomas Levésque (Restaurant Manager). The restaurant is named after the pioneer and explorer Jeanne Baret (1740-1807).
