The Sauer Power Club Night curated by the Slavs and Tatars artist collective has put together an intoxicating concert, DJ and performance programme for this occasion. To accompany the programme, fermented drinks will be served. The Schlüter Courtyard is becoming the place to be in Berlin Mitte.

The Sauer Power Klub Nacht is part of the 24h OPEN programme on the occasion of the opening of the East Wing at the Humboldt Forum.
Slavs and Tatars was founded in 2006 and is a highly regarded international art collective, headquartered in Berlin. Their practice is based on exhibitions, publications and lecture performances with a focus on the area east of Berlin and west of the Great Wall of China, to “Eurasia”.
Their playful presentation style draws the attention of the audience to the research on which the work is based.
Slavs and Tatars had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art New York, Salt Istanbul, Vienna Secession, Kunsthalle Zürich, Albertinum in Dresden and at the Ujazdowski Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, among others. Along with their translation of the legendary Azerbaijan satirical magazine Molla Nasreddin, Slavs and Tartars has already published more than ten books, the last being Wripped Scriptsa in 2018 about the politics of alphabets and transliteration.
In 2019 the collective curated the 33rd Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts and their work was shown in the main exhibition May You Live in Interesting Times at the 58th Biennale in Venice. They took part in the Biennales in Sharjah, Berlin, Gwangju and the Manifesta 10 in St. Petersburg and exhibited in group exhibitions at the Centre Pompidou Paris, Tate Modern in London, Kunsthaus Graz and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
Slavs and Tatars created a residency and mentorship programme in 2018 and opened the Space Pickle Bar project in 2020 near their studio in Berlin Moabit.
