Atmospherically illuminated facades, international specialities and high-quality arts and crafts: from 1 December, visitors can end their visit to Schloßplatz in Berlin-Mitte with roasted almonds, tree carvings, Feuerzangenbowle and gift items for the first time. The winter market on Schloßplatz is a new place to enjoy the end of the year with friends or family with a view of the Lustgarten and Berlin Cathedral. Visitors can also look forward to further highlights in the magnificent Schlüterhof.

The elaborately produced video mapping animations create a festive atmosphere: They illuminate the baroque façades in the Schlüterhof and around the Schlossplatz. The well-known illumination technology company Böhlke, which has artistically illuminated many of the city’s landmarks for the Festival of Lights and the Christmas Garden, has created the light installations for this.

The winter market offers a colourful, daily changing programme with lots of surprises for children. This includes a family day with reduced fares for children on the historic carousel as well as company parties with mulled wine and vegan food.

The winter market is an event organised by Wollenschlaeger Event GmbH.

Please note

The Schlüterhof must be closed to the public for the construction and dismantling of the Winter Market. During this time, access to the Sculpture Hall is only possible via the Spree side, Portal 6 and to the Video Panorama via the passage. Access to the shop and Bistro Lebenswelten is also possible via the passage. Access to the Wilhelm Alexander restaurant is via Portal 6.

Dismantling: 7 January to 11 January 2024
