Winter market Schloßplatz

Atmospherically illuminated facades, international specialities and high-quality arts and crafts: from 25 November, visitors can round off their visit to Schloßplatz in Berlin-Mitte with roasted almonds, tree carvings, Feuerzangenbowle and gifts. The winter market on Schloßplatz is a cosy place to enjoy the end of the year with friends or family with a view of the Lustgarten and Berlin Cathedral. Visitors can also look forward to further highlights in the magnificent Schlüterhof.

The elaborately produced video mapping animations create a festive atmosphere: They illuminate the baroque façades in the Schlüterhof and around the Schlossplatz. The well-known illumination technology company Böhlke, which has artistically illuminated many of the city’s landmarks for the Festival of Lights and the Christmas Garden, has created the light installations for this.

The winter market offers a varied programme such as curling, the WinterPalace and an extensive children’s programme.
