On the second day of Diversity of Voices, you will also have the opportunity to explore the Humboldt Forum and its exhibitions through a variety of short concerts throughout the building and be musically inspired in the process. The performances of the participating choirs offer the opportunity to experience familiar rooms and eexhibitions in a new light.
The choirs’ engagement with the current special exhibition Blown Away. The Palace of the Republic continues the discussion initiated there about dealing with German-German history on an artistic level, both in individual concerts and in the joint performances of all choirs in the large foyer (Sunday 2.00 & 4.30 pm), in which three songs newly arranged especially for this occasion approach the Palace of the Republic from different perspectives.
Those who want to get creative themselves can also take a crash course in body percussion in the Mechanical Arena on Sunday or take part in circle singing. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The project and the 8 choirs are presented here.
