Sing-along concert Sing dela Sing
Schlüterhof
Jazz in the foyer, gospel amid Asian art or Japanese art songs in the Schlüterhof: eleven very different Berlin choirs will turn the Humboldt Forum into a polyphonic body of sound for one weekend. Throughout the building, you can experience choral concerts and take part in workshops and a sing-along concert with Sing dela Sing at the Humboldt Forum’s big “Singing in”.
Concerts with works inspired by the premises and collections of the house make the Humboldt Forum resound. Whether on the large stage in the Schlüterhof, amidst houses from Oceania, on staircases, in laboratories or under the dome: the entire building becomes a concert space. In a joint performance under the direction of Harry Curtis, all choirs will come together in the foyer with a multi-voiced performance. For the first time, over 200 singers will make this imposing space resound.
If you don’t just want to listen, but sing into the Humboldt Forum yourself, you can attend a crash course in beatboxing in the Mechanical Arena or take part in Circle Singing. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. At the sing-along concert with Sing dela Sing from 7.30 pm, no one will be able to keep their vocal cords still!
