Who still has treasures in their cupboard from the Palace of the Republic or photos taken on site? We are interested in the things you have kept and the stories behind them.
The Palace Consulate for Memories & Objects is collecting and presenting your memorabilia and memories as part of the Endless Palace theme weekend. Objects and stories will be accepted in the foyer of the Humboldt Forum from June 12 to 14, 2024 from 2 pm to 6:30 pm.
In the Palace Consulate you will meet students from Humboldt-Universität and staff from the Humboldt Forums “History of the Site” department. Come and visit us! Or send an email with a digital photo and information in advance to [email protected].
On June 15, you can become the narrator of your story. From 11:00 a.m. we invite you to Shared memory. Show and tell. Every hour on the hour, a new round of memory objects will be introduced. Come on stage with your object and share your story!
Everyone is welcome to listen, talk to each other, remember and learn new things. Prejudices can be uncovered, clichés questioned and points of contact and similarities discovered. We look forward to seeing you!
