The photo exhibition The Feast of the Dead in Ocotepec is 40 years old and shows how Mexican families in a village in central Mexico celebrate the return of their dead on All Souls’ Day until today. The families await their guests with a lavishly decorated altar, and many regions of Mexico have developed their own traditions. In Ocotepec, for example, the reclining dead man is erected. His head consists of a sugar skull, his clothes are stuffed with sweet dead bread.
