During the Long Night of Museums, the Humboldt Forum invites you on an individual journey through space and time with atmospheric lighting and a DJ set.
This year the Humboldt Forum is part of the Lange Nacht der Museen Berlin. From 6 pm onwards, the Humboldt Forum looks forward to your visit.
After dusk you will enter the Schlüter Courtyard through portals illuminated in rainbow colours, which as always invites you to linger. You will be able to see a concert of light shooting its beams far into the Berlin night sky from afar. The air-conditioned Foyer invites you to dance or chill to the rhythms of DJ Ben Olayinka during this long night. Enjoy a digital sea of colours played out for you by our Kosmograf.
Get to know the entire house in one long night: All four actors will open their doors for you
In the Humboldt Forum you can expect a programme from the Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin with the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst, as well as the Stadtmuseum Berlin and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Connect with the globe in BERLIN GLOBAL on an interactive tour during the Lange Nacht der Museen and experience how the city and its people are connected to the world – then and now. Or find answers to the question of how climate change, species extinction and the crisis of democracy are connected in the Humboldt Laboratory’s exhibition After Nature. The exhibitions of the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin again offer very different views of past and present cultures of Africa, Asia and Oceania.
