Design imaginative vegetables with AI, produce stamps and stencils in the laser cutter, discover long-forgotten retro games, sample and visualize experimental sounds, become your own digital avatar and solve mechanical puzzles in the Escape Room. Hall 2 on the ground floor of the Humboldt Forum offers a diverse hands-on program where young people and adults can learn about current technological developments and get creative themselves.

  • GAMEchanics – Solve mechanical puzzles in the Escape Room (Technische Universität Berlin)
  • OUT OF MEMORY ERROR – Program and play retro games on the C64 (Computerspielemuseum)
  • Klangwolken – Experimental sound design with music apps (App2Music)
  • #hacktheworldabetterplace – Gain your first experience in programming and code your own game (Hacker School)
  • AI: Break the Bias – Program your app for more fairness (Junge Tüftler*innen)
  • Smart Irrigation – Build and program an irrigation system with Arduino and Scratch (1769 Resilience Lab)
  • AI Atelier – Create imaginative vegetable varieties and become part of a large memory (Zentral- und Landesbibliothek)
  • Understanding code – Discover Arduino and Python and program analog robots (Stadtbibliothek Treptow-Köpenick)
  • Sphero spheres – Create a spell and let a robot do magic for you (Stadtbibliothek Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg)
  • digimenta – Be surprised by the phenomena of everyday digital life (Stadtbibliothek Mitte)
  • Escape your reality! – Smash flying blocks to the beat and get out of an Escape Room (Stadtbibliothek Pankow)

Please book one free ticket per person for the desired time slot and arrive at the venue on time. Admission can no longer be guaranteed 15 minutes after the start of the booked time slot.
