On the occasion of the WELTSTUDIO special at BERLIN GLOBAL, a guided tour through the exhibitions ‘After Nature’ and BERLIN GLOBAL uses select examples to shed light on how maps are used to create and consolidate power structures and world views.
Maps are powerful tools that shape our perception of the world. They tell stories, reinforce or question prejudices, and reflect social and economic differences. By highlighting certain places, they shape our collective memory and our understanding of the past.
The tour is held in German.
