We will begin our provenance walk at the library of the German Historical Museum, where you will gain insight into research on books and museum objects connected to cultural property confiscations in the Soviet Occupation Zone and the GDR. The walk continues to the Humboldt Forum, where the provenance research team will share insights into their methods and current projects in postcolonial provenance research related to the collections of the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition spaces with the researchers and later explore exhibitions like Histories of Tanzania independently.
Participation is limited. Registration is required.
Additional Information: Entry to the exhibitions at the Humboldt Forum is free of charge. Please check coats, jackets, and bags at the cloakroom.
