Friedrich Herrmann is a poetry slammer, presenter and organizer from Jena. Since 2015, he has been performing throughout the German-speaking world with self-written texts and has won, among other things, the German-speaking Poetry Slam Championships 2019 in Berlin. In the fall of 2019, his first book “Notizen eines Linkshänders”, a handwritten and originally illustrated collection of texts, was published by Lektora-Verlag. At the same time, he also presented his first full-length solo program.
Jacinta Nandi, born in 1980 in East London, has lived in Berlin since 2000, and writes in German and in English. In German she wrote, among other things, for the “taz” from 2013 to 2014 as “Die gute Ausländerin” (“The good foreigner”), published the book “Fish & Chips und Spreewaldgurken” with Jakob Hein in 2013, and in 2015 published her autobiographical novel “Nichts gegen blasen” (“Nothing against blowing”). In the fall of 2020, she published her book „Die schlechteste Hausfrau der Welt“ (“The worst housewife in the world”). In English, she writes the WTFBerlin blog for Exberliner*innen and this summer she brought out a book under the same title. She has two children and her favorite food is still pie and chips.
