Once a month, poetry and science come together at the Humboldt Lab. In the Logoskop‘s seventh edition, the renowned spoken-word poets Dominique Macri and Volker Strübing will explore the exhibition ‚After Nature‘ with live performances of their work. Visitors are invited to join them on their tour of eloquence.

Dominique Macri from Marburg is a slam poet, actress and psychologist. She has performed with the impro theatre ensemble “fast forward” as well as in solo engagements for the MMK Frankfurt and the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. Since 2007, Dominique Macri has been touring throughout the German-speaking world and Europe as a slam poet. In 2014, she won the international German-language poetry slam championships with her team partner Dalibor Markovic. In 2017, she was commissioned by the Goethe-Institut to travel to Qatar as a trainer and received the Innovation Award of the German Speakers Association (GSA) for her format “Poetic Recording”, which she uses to summarise events in poetic form.
Volker Strübing is a slam poet, author and filmmaker. As the creator of the animated series “Kloß und Spinne”, he reached a wide audience. His stories, films and songs are masterpieces of grotesque humour. Volker Strübing is a four-time winner of the German-language poetry slam championships. Together with Michael Ebeling, he is part of the slam team “LSD – Liebe statt Drogen”. He was a permanent member of various Berlin reading stages, including “Chaussee der Enthusiasten” and “Kantinenlesen”.
