Come and listen to a reading of the picture books “The little Hummingbird” by Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas, ‘Im Garten von Oma Apo’ by Wei Tang, and ‘Onkel Flores’ by Eymard Toledo.
Grandma Apo and Uncle Flores make the world a better place! In a city in Japan, Grandma Apo grows fruit and vegetables in her rooftop garden to give to other people. Uncle Flores sews curtains for the people in his village, making it look lively and colourful instead of grey. And the little hummingbird? She makes the world a better place by doing what she can!
Exciting stories for children aged 3 to 6, but older visitors will find them entertaining too.
