The Humboldt Laboratory in the Humboldt Forum is an experiment on the big stage for the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Since 2021, the inaugural exhibition After Nature and a varied programme offer an unusual glimpse behind the scenes of university research and teaching.
On 20 September, the Humboldt Lab will present its “Laboratory Notebook” to the public. On around 300 pages, numerous articles and images reflect on the first three years of the new dialogue space between science and society. Curators, scientists, students, designers, artists and others take a look at the genesis and further development of the successful inaugural exhibition “After Nature” and its accompanying programme.
At the book presentation, various project participants will have their say in panel discussions. The evening will conclude with drinks and music from 20:00.
The Laboratory Notebook will be published by diaphanes Verlag on 16 September 2024 (partly in English). It can be pre-ordered here.
