Cem Özdemir is the Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture. He has been one of the most popular politicians in the country for years and was, among other things, chairman of “Bündnis 90/Die Grünen” for ten years. In 1994, Özdemir, who likes to call himself an “Anatolian Swabian”, was the first federal MP with Turkish roots.
