Julia Reuschenbach is a political scientist at the Free University of Berlin. She researches political parties, election campaigns and political communication and is one of the most sought-after experts when it comes to explaining political populism and the rise of the AfD.
Steffen Mau is a sociologist at Humboldt University Berlin and the author of several non-fiction books, e.g. “Lütten Klein. Leben in der ostdeutschen Transformationsgesellschaft” and most recently (together with Thomas Lux and Linus Westheuser) “Triggerpunkte. Consensus and conflict in contemporary society.”
