Matthias Brandt is one of Germany’s best-known actors, thanks to his roles in the ARD crime series “Polizeiruf 110” and the series “Babylon Berlin”, among others. He has won the German Audiobook Award twice as a narrator. Together with musician Jens Thomas, he has been touring the stage for several years with their improvisational word-music collages. Brandt’s book debut, the short story collection “Raumpatrouille”, was published in 2016, followed by his novel debut “Blackbird” in 2019.
