Adir Jan (Berlin)

Adir Jan describes himself as ‘Cosmopolitan Kurdesque’ and his music builds bridges between genders, generations and cultures. The result is a unique, intense and drivingly ecstatic sound that adresses topics such as colonialism, migration and queerphobia from a gay-migrant perspective – sometimes bittersweet and sharp, sometimes melancholic and dark.
