“The trick is to play the right music at the right time.” DJ Pasi
Nothing evokes memories better than music. Memories lying between home, rage, refuge and conformity. This makes a journey into the time when the Palace of the Republic was in active use – the late 1970s and through the 1980s – all the more exciting in its ambivalence. DJ Pasi will be playing the kind of music heard in the Palace of the Republic for visitors to listen, dance, and remember.
“The trick is to play the right music at the right time.” This is the universal task of any DJ who views themselves as a service provider, rather than an artist. In that sense, DJ Pasi is not a musical self-promoter, but rather a professional in the art of selecting a playlist that compels partygoers to get up and dance. His motto: ‘Dancing is good for you’.
DJ Pasi is resident DJ at:
Frannz Club Berlin
