Once a month, poetry and science come together at the Humboldt Lab. In the Logoskop‘s twenty-second edition, the renowned spoken-word poets Tabea Farnbacher and Jayrôme C. Robinet will explore the exhibition ‚After Nature‘ with live performances of their work. Visitors are invited to join them on their tour of eloquence.

Tabea Farnbacher
Tabea Farnbacher (*1996) writes poetry, prose and essays. She is the 2018 Federal Prize Winner for Young Authors. She has been performing as a poetry slammer since 2016 and was a finalist in the German-language poetry slam championships in 2018. She is a member of the feminist reading stage “Aufruhrgebiet” and the collective “Verschwende deine Lyrik”. In 2021, she won 2nd place in the KURT Literature Prize Hanover with her poems. For the chamber orchestra Ensemble Ruhr she wrote and performed the texts for the program “Da verschob sich die Ruhe” (2022).
Jayrôme C. Robinet
Jayrôme C. Robinet, born a woman in France in 1977, is a poet, spoken word artist and translator. His most recent publication is “Das Licht ist weder gerecht noch ungerecht”. Jayrôme C. Robinet has been awarded numerous prizes and scholarships.
He teaches at the Alice Salomon Hochschule and lives in Berlin. Since 2020, he has been writing his doctoral thesis on queer performance poetry at the Berlin University of the Arts. In his book “Mein Weg von einer weißen Frau zu einem jungen Mann mit Migrationshintergrund” (My journey from a white woman to a young man with a migration background), he talks about his everyday queer life and reveals how insane social perceptions and classifications often are.
